Information on New Year's decorations

On Saturdays and Sundays in December, an exhibition of New Year decorations will be held at Ame Kita-Kamakura.

The one in the photo is studded with the fruits of the southern sky, like a rain of blessings. is leaving

This time, we will hold a Hanayama scenery workshop at "Ame" in Kita-Kamakura.

Preserved and dried flower materials will be used for floating stones (pumice) to create the ideal scenery.

You can enjoy dripping your favorite scent (aroma, perfume, etc.) in your room.

Information on New Year's decorations

On Saturdays and Sundays in December, an exhibition of New Year decorations will be held at Ame Kita-Kamakura.

The one in the picture was created with the thought that the fruit of the southern sky will be likened to a flower, and the flower will bloom little by little. The knot part uses [golden grass], which grows naturally only in some areas of Brazil, and emits a natural golden glow.

A scenery that can't be found anywhere else, hung on a pitch-black wall. The artwork “Round Window”, which is drawn by sticking a small flower one by one, invites you to look at the imaginary scenery that spreads outside the window.

They remind me of the scenery of the grasslands sparkling in the spring breeze under the moonlight and the river surface tickling the ears.

In front of the "round window" is placed a scent made by blending natural oils in the image of the work. rises.

Contrast between the unchanging beauty of the "round window" drawn using art flowers and the fragrance that fades away. It is a joint experience of singing that is similar to the tea ceremony and incense ceremony that condense nature into a small world.

*We will be exhibiting artwork for the first time at our atelier "Ame Kitakamakura" which opened in the summer of 2020. This is an installation work that allows you to experience a "round window" with a diameter of 120 cm with the scent of a single drop. Please come and visit us.
